We are proud to announce the inauguration of Shreddies‘ second school in Los Planes de Chuchexic, Guatemala. The three room school was officially inaugurated on Monday afternoon and will host over 200 students daily. 
We’ve heard about some AWESOME Pencils of Promise fundraisers lately — everything from steak nights to car shows to bake sales! The PoP movement sure is creative, and we’d love for you to be a part of it.

Here at Pencils of Promise, we love finding volunteering in our local communities! So last week, our NYC PoP staff volunteered at Baby Buggy, an awesome national organization that provides essential clothing, gear and services to families in need.

We just got news that we’ve completed our 50th school!
Quite an amazing feeling, thank you so much to everyone in the Pencils of Promise movement! It’s thanks to your involvement and dedication that we’ve gotten to this point.
Now join us as we reach for our goal of another 50 schools before the end of 2012!
